I went to the doctor a few months ago, and now I keep getting bills. I pay them because I'm the type of person who pays her bills. I pay the one from the doctor, the one from the hospital, the one from the lab, etc.
Don't you think that it's probably a really genius scam?
Maybe I should just start sending random $18.00 bills to people from a mysterious lab. If anyone thinks it's worth the $18.00 to call and ask what the bill is for, then I will just say, "Oops, mistake, sorry. Don't pay it." But I bet the majority of people will just mail a check.
